{Trim It Up}
Brian's been working hard to get the interior trim finished. For the baseboards we used a standard base finished with a shoe, and for the door trim we kept it simple using a 1x. For our faux crown molding we got a little creative. The idea of crown molding seemed a bit intimidating for our first trim job ~ so we decided to use a piece of baseboard, flip it upside down and finish the top with a piece of cap molding. If you look closely at the outside corner, you'll notice ours stands perpendicular rather than at a 45degree angle. But what a beautiful 90 degree angle it is ~ way to go Brian!
