Magnolia Wreath

Magnolia Leaf Wreath
{Our Very First DIY Wreath}
Wanting to do a bit of fall decorating, we thought we'd put that big magnolia tree in the front yard to use. After a bit of online research, a quick trip to Michaels and $6 we made our very own! Click Here to learn how!

Guest Bedroom ~ Part VI

Pottery Barn Charlotte Daybed Pie Safe
{Let The Decorating Begin}
The guest bedroom is finally done with the exception of finishing the doors. Due to the very small size of the space we decided to go with a daybed and plan to convert it into a guest ~ living room. We got a real steal on this Pottery Barn Charlotte Daybed at the PB Outlet ~ it's currently missing the trundle that is typically included, but the price was just too great to pass up. The pie safe will be restored and we'll plan to use it to store linens.
More photos to come!

Eight Point Glass Door Knob
{Vintage Finds}
Found these this past weekend while Mom and I were in Greenville, South Carolina. The best bargain of the trip was at
The Lamb Antiques where we got a steal on this salvaged fireplace mantel. The butcher paper dispenser, old barn pulley and eight point door knob were other fun finds!

BKF

{Before & After}
I have a confession ~ I love polishing and the reward that comes from seeing something go from tarnish to shiny!
Until now it was a love restricted to polishing silver .
After trying BKF on our stainless pots and pans ~ I'm sold.
Who knew you could make your pots shine like new?
