{Front Porch Makeover ~ Part III: New Ceiling}
We plan to use beadboard in the interior of the house and decided we would add the feature to the ceiling of our porch. To save time we opted to use beadboard paneling~ rather than the individual tongue and groove slats. Home Depot happened to carry a larger size than Lowes did which cut even more time from this project.
Hoping to save additional time we primed each panel prior to installing. Brian used a couple of 2x4's (also called a dead man) to help hold the ceiling in place while he nailed it in.
Once the ceiling was installed, Brian added a quarter round for a finishing touch. Then filled in the nail holes with putty.
